Geisler Picks Up Career Win #71 at Pittsburgh's PA Motor Speedway
PITTSBURGH, PA - JULY 9, 2011 - Sixty year old Lynn Geisler, Cranberry Township PA showed there is nothing slowing him down in picking up his 71st all time PPMS Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic Super Late Model DIRTcar win. Jim Stephans and Lynn Geisler brought the field down for the start, with third starting Mike Johnson grabbing the lead at the drop of the green. Geisler moved into second with Jim Stephans and Mike Davis following. For the next 18 laps Johnson looked like he had things going his way in the non -stop event, with a several car length margin over Geisler. But as the race wore on Johnson's tires began to go, and Geisler's got better and on lap 19 Geisler swept by for the lead in turns three and four and led the rest of the way. Mike Johnson held off Jim Stephans for second, with Mike Davis holding off last week's winner Brandon Burgoon and Steve Baker for fourth, followed by Ben Miley, Mike Norris, Mike Basich, and John Garvin Jr. The heats went to Mike Norris and Steve Baker. Geisler Racing Continues Winning Ways as #1 Cochran Night at Lernerville Speedway Approaches.

Cranberry Township, PA (June 9, 2011) The Geisler Racing Team, which includes National Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame Member Lynn Geisler and Crate Late Model standout Mike Pegher Jr., will continue to celebrate their 30th Anniversary with sponsor #1 Cochran Automotive at Lernerville Speedway this upcoming Friday, June 10 as it is #1 Cochran Fan Appreciation Night at the ‘Action Track’ in Sarver, PA.  This is traditionally one of our most attended nights of the season at Lernerville so get there early and enjoy a high speed, action packed night of family fun and entertainment courtesy of Rob Cochran, Jack Crowell and all the fine folks at #1 Cochran Automotive!

Geisler, who has relinquished his seat for most of the season so far in favor of Pegher Jr., has only five starts in 2011 but has three top ten’s in those starts including a second place finish at Pittsburgh’s PA Motor Speedway on Saturday, May 28. MORE

Mike Pegher Jr. Wins at Roaring Knob, Geisler Battles All Stars

Cranberry Township, PA (May 4, 2011) The Geisler Racing Team, which includes National Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame Member Lynn Geisler and Crate Late Model standout Mike Pegher Jr., have kicked off their 2011 season in fine fashion as Pegher has captured two victories in his #1 Cochran sponsored Fastrak Crate Late Model.  

With the team celebrating their 30th Anniversary with sponsor #1 Cochran Automotive, Geisler opened his season on Saturday, April 9 at Pittsburgh’s PA Motor Speedway with a ninth place finish.  The wet weather has put a hamper on Lynn’s season so far as seven events have been rained out.  Lynn was able to get into the action at Lernerville Speedway on Friday, April 29 with the O’Reilly All Star Late Model Series.  Geisler times in fourth quick during time trials and finished third in his heat.  However, Lynn pulled off early in the event to save his equipment and was credited with a 12th place finish.  The next night, April 30, Geisler competed at Pittsburgh’s PA Motor Speedway and came home with a ninth place finish.  Geisler Racing Set to Begin their 30th Season with Sponsor #1 Cochran Automotive!

Cranberry Township, PA (March 22, 2011) The Geisler Racing Team, which includes National Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame Member Lynn Geisler and Crate Late Model standout Mike Pegher Jr., have been hard at work over the off-season and are looking to continue the winning tradition Geisler Racing has become known for over the past three decades.

Lynn will open his season this Friday, March 25 at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, PA and will keep pace with the same type of local schedule that he has had in previous years once Pittsburgh’s PA Motor Speedway (PPMS) opens up on Saturday, April 2.  One difference in Lynn’s schedule this season will be when he takes a night off to let Mike Pegher Jr. take over in the #1 Cochran Automotive Super Late Model.
