Geisler Racing Set to Open Season at Lernerville and PPMS

Cranberry Township, PA (March 26, 2009) The Geisler Racing Team, which includes National Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame Member Lynn Geisler and Pittsburgh’s PA Motor Speedway 2008 Limited/Crate Late Model Champion Mike Pegher Jr., will open their season this upcoming weekend as Lynn will be in action for Lernerville Speedway’s 41st Season Opener on Friday, March 27. Geisler will also be in action at Lernerville the following week Friday, April 4 before opening Pittsburgh PA Motor Speedway’s 30th season on Saturday, April 5 while Pegher, Jr. will debut his new #1 Cochran Rocket at Mercer Raceway Park the same night. “We’ll pretty much do the same thing as the last few years, Lernerville and Pittsburgh (PPMS) weekly,” Geisler commented on the upcoming 2009 racing season. “Mike, on the other hand, will have a bit of a different schedule. He’ll be doing more Fastrak racing this year including following the whole Fastrak NorthEast schedule. Fans will see him more at Mercer Raceway Park than anywhere else this year.” Lynn continued, “We’re all real excited about Mike getting out on the road a little, when we went out last season he faired very well at places he never seen before. This will be a great learning tool for him and I’m sure he will pass with flying colors.” 2009 will mark the 28th consecutive season with #1 Cochran as the primary sponsor on the side of the Geisler Racing machine.
