Geisler Racing and Mike Pegher Jr. Start Season with Three Wins!

Cranberry Township, PA (April 28, 2009) The Geisler Racing Team, which includes National Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame Member Lynn Geisler and Pittsburgh’s PA Motor Speedway 2008 Limited/Crate Late Model Champion Mike Pegher Jr., have gotten off to a hot start this 2009 racing season as Lynn has put together three straight top ten finishes between Lernerville Speedway and Pittsburgh’s PA Motor Speedway (PPMS). Geisler’s hot start doesn’t compare to what Pegher Jr. has accomplished so far this season. Mike has kicked off the 2009 season in grand fashion winning three races in just five starts including the Fastrak Northeast sanctioned ‘Topless 25’ at Tyler County Speedway, Middlebourne, WV, this past Saturday. Pegher now has two Fastrak weekly wins, both coming at Mercer Raceway Park and the Fastrak Northeast win to his credit in his #1 Cochran GM MegaCenter / Bryant Plumbing / S&S Chassis Supply / Triple-S Auto Outlet / Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic Rocket Chassis GTO. Mike’s other two finishes include a sixth at Mercer Raceway Park and a second during UMP Pro Late Model competition at Lernerville Speedway. “I’ll tell you what,” said Geisler, “Mike has really been impressive so far this year. I couldn’t be happier for Mike. He’s really coming into his own with the crate car, I hope he can keep it up throughout the year. Our goal is to be competitive everywhere he goes with it, so far he has kept it up front. Now, if I can get my car up front like his we’ll really be happy,” Lynn joked.
